NYState Property Tax Reform Coalition
The NYState Property Tax Reform Coalition, founded in part by the Task Force, is composed of more than 50 advocacy groups from around the state. Its mission is to eliminate property taxes as a source of school funding, because these taxes are based on home values, not on citizens' ability to pay.
